"One Weekend 2 Dals 2" 9"x12" Charcoal Drawing

This is a 9"x12" charcoal drawing of dalmatian dogs on watercolor stained charcoal paper. The artwork is double matted onto foam core, covering in non-glare glass and framed in a solid wood frame. All acid free materials were used in the framing of the artwork. The total piece measures 19.6"x21.6" in a 18"x20" frame.

"These two portraits titled "One Weekend Two Dals" were created from reference provided to me by a co-worker. I was told these two Dalmatians were brought together for a weekend in order to breed. That created a conflict in my mind I wanted to convey. The viewer can take from these portraits what they will. They can be seen as both beautiful and sad in the same viewing. I'm very proud of them both and they are among my favorite portraits I've done to date."
